Come Join the Fun!!!!
Get all dressed up and be on the Ava Square at 6PM for the Ava Lions Club Halloween Costume Contest!!
The event will begin at 6:00 at the gazebo in the center of the square.

The contest is open to anyone from newborn and up. Prizes will also be given to the youngest and oldest contestant. The contest will consist of groups in 3-5 years of age increments, depending on the number of contestants. There will be five prizes awarded for each group. First place will receive $5, second place $4, 3rd place $3, 4th place $2 and fifth place will receive $1.
All first place winners will then participate for the grand prize of $20.
All participants, regardless of age will receive a candy bar and a carton of strawberry or chocolate milk, courtesy of Buddy Irby, distributor for Hiland Dairy.
We are asking all businesses on the square to participate by remaining open until 6pm to allow the little gremlins to trick or treat in the safety of the public square prior to participating in the costume contest.
Everyone is invited to attend the contest and watch as the youngsters participate in the fun filled activity.
