The former Festival of the Trees event has been graciously handed over to the Ava Art Guild. The Guild is presenting the ?Festival of Arts? the week of December 7 through December 12. We are putting our own stamp on the event. Local artists have decorated trees which are currently on display in Ava businesses around town. You can view our trees this week at Cooper Lumber, Intelligent Design, Ava Family Theater, Backwoods Diva, Simply Kids & Baby, Emily?s Closet, Hartley?s Shoes, Ava Drug Company, and Scratch Pet Shop. We will be hosting a gathering of Heart of the Hills Healthcare clients, Ava Elementary School, Ava Head Start, and Ava Victory Academy students during the week. Our guests will enjoy the decorations, crafts, artwork, and refreshments provided by Guild members. Storytellers will be on hand to entertain. On December 12 , our week of events will culminate with an OPEN HOUSE from 2-5PM. There will be a Silent Auction of the decorated trees, crafts for sale, and door prizes galore. Win tickets from Branson Auto Museum, Branson IMAX, Showboat Branson Belle, Ride the Ducks, Circle B Supper & Show, to name a few. Everyone is welcome to browse, and enjoy complimentary beverages, hors d?oeuvres, and good cheer.
