o 9 AM – 3 PM Saturday (Nov 14th). You must be open both days and the designated hours.
o Fee: $25 registration fee $25 gift certificate to be used as a prize.
The deadline to register will be Wednesday, October 21st 2009 by 5PM.
How it works
o It’s very simple, as a business owner you make the decision to participate by filling out the registration form, mailing me the registration fee of $25 and a $25 gift certificate to be used at your business or if your business is a service oriented business you can purchase a gift certificate to be used at another local business.
o I encourage each business to have a “Open House Special”, serve light refreshments and use this opportunity to greet people that come into your business.
o Once the deadline to register has passed I will be using the $25 registration fee to advertise this event not only in Ava but surrounding communities. Your business name will be listed on each ad that I place.
o As an incentive to get people out and to participate I will design a card listing all the registered businesses. Shoppers will take this card to each business to have it marked/stamped by one of your employees.(I would encourage you to have a designated person to stamp thecard).
When the shopper gets done visiting all the participating businesses their card will be entered into a drawing to receive prized packages that will be put together using the gift certificates each business provided.
