Event Description:
Ava High School Spirit Week!! We invite ALL Douglas County residents to show their Ava Bear spirit with us this week!
“Adventures in Wonderland”
Spirit Week:September 19th-23rd
Monday: Pajamas Day(As Alice gently falls asleep and began to dream…)
Tuesday: Fake Injury Day (She chased a rabbit into a hole and down she fell…)
Wednesday: Psychedelic Day (She encountered many strange things. Sometimes
she was too tall and sometimes she was too small…)
Thursday: Favorite Alice in Wonderland Character Day(She met many
strange and wonderful characters…)
Friday: Blue and Gold Day (She longed to get home and celebrate)
1:30 Pep Assembly-high school gym
2:30 Homecoming Parade *The parade will begin behind the main high school building and will travel in front of the Ava Middle and Ava Elementary Schools before it turns onto Jefferson and makes it way up to and around the
square.
6:45 Ava Pride Band
7:00 Ava Bears vs. Thayer Bobcats
King and Queen Coronation at Half-time Candidates: Emily Sterling, Payton Lakey, and Jessica BurressChase Dixon, Kody Kutz, and Jeff Smalley
