Ava Art Guild announces its Spring Art Show, which will be held in the AAG Gallery from June 1st to June 5th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The art show has junior and adult categories in photography, paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor. There are categories for drawings in pencil, charcoal and colored pencil. There are also 3-D and mixed media groups. The entry fee for each piece of art is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for juniors under 18 years old. A judge will award first, second and third place ribbons for each category plus a judge’s choice award will be named from all the entries. The community ismencouraged to come to the Ava Art Gallery during the show to view the art and vote for the peoples’ choice award which will also be awarded in both adult and junior categories. All entries must be received at the Ava Art Guild building on or before May 31st at 4 p.m. Entries to be hung must be framed with a wire hanger on the back; no saw-tooth hangers, please.
